I-League, a new sensational musical group of youthful hip-hop acts, led by Oluwadamilare ‘Irish’ Adeshina, has concluded plans to herald their entry into the Nigerian music industry in a grand style, with their latest work, Boogie Down. The group consists of great talents in both compositions and vocal powerhouse, like Olaide Gboyega, aka Possible G, who is a student of Festac Rhythm School, Benin Republic. They also have Abayomi Shorinola, aka Young A, who is a rapper; Emmanuel Agwu, aka Emnizy, a talented producer and Thomas Ezeikwe Obinna, aka Pappzy. Based in Cotonou, Benin Republic, but planning to relocate to Nigeria very soon, these five young artistes own Irish Entertainment and are currently working with Rapid Fire Entertainment/Media, based in Lagos. Their single, Boogie Down, is gradually taking over various clubs in the country. The record label CEO promised their fans that the group will not disintegrate anytime soon. “We are working on our promo CD and it will be released soon and this will be followed by our debut album before the end of 2014. We will soon take over the Nigerian music scene because our music appeals to all strata and for now, we would love to do collaborations with artistes like Timaya, Patoranking and Runtown because they are the next big deals in Nigeria for now.”
