Why are you here, Sir?
(Laughs) What a tough question! Well, Chief Okoya is my in-law and it is not too farfetched that he is the reason I am here.
As my in-law, today is a special day for him. He has turned 76. At least, he is a man that I have known very well and he has done so well for himself and our state, Lagos. He has done well for the entire country.
In terms of impact in the areas of employment and manufacturing, he has been on for over five decades, doing the same thing over and over. It’s a huge success and he continues doing very well and endearing himself to a lot of people.
What is your prayer for him as he turns 76 today?
My prayer for him is to live a very, very long life, with abundance of prosperity. And for him not to ever witness the death of any of his children and any of his business empires.
What is the secret of your youthful looks?
The secret is my wife (Wosilat). She’s cooking the right food and I exercise very well. I don’t allow issues to become a burden in my life.
