Billionaire businessman and MD/CEO of Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited, Mr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, says he’s still interested in governing Anambra State.
Ubah, who contested for the seat years ago but lost to the incumbent, Gov. Willie Obiano, revealed this on Thursday, June 2, 2016 during an interactive session with some newsmen in his home town, Otolo, Nnewi, Anambra State.
He had contested for the seat on the ticket of Labour Party but lost to Obiano of All Progressives Grand Alliance.
‘I still want to be Anambra State Governor’, he had begun. Before adding that, ‘Losing the Anambra State governorship contest was not easy, but I think my people are the greater losers because I have great things in mind for them and I am still interested in that seat…’
Going further, the Publisher of The Authority Newspapers and owner of FC Ifeanyi Ubah said, ‘I am highly passionate about Anambra and I want to see it transformed, I want the opportunity to develop Anambra just the way I have done in my village and the evidences are there that I have done more for my community than any government has done for Anambra’.
