Contrary to the rumour flying all over the social media, the creator of musicomedy, Julius ‘De Genius’Agwu, is certainly not in a coma. As a matter of fact, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine can exclusively inform you that he’s getting better, even though he’s still hospitalized.
Visited yesterday at the Lewisham Hospital in London by some of his colleagues like Gbenga Adeyinka,Steve Onu, aka Yaw, and others, Julius was in high spirits, gisting and catching up on all that transpired at the London edition of his Crack Ya Ribs with them.
The Sunday, August 28, 2016 show which Julius missed saw the likes of Ali Baba, Gordons, Kelly Blaq, Majek Fashek, Emma Oh My God, Seyi Brown, MC PC, alongside Yaw and Gbenga, rallying round one of their own. And with the show turning out successful.
‘We told the guests what happened and also asked for prayers for Julius’, one of the artistes who performed told YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine, ‘And the people were very, very understanding’.
We also gathered that some of Julius’ friends in London, like Don Chichi and Rita Odigie, have been quite supportive.
Again, that unlike the story all over the Internet, Julius is only contending with lack of rest. ‘Yes he had a brain surgery last year or so in America, but this one has nothing to do with that again. Just lack of rest and perhaps that is why he is still on bed rest, pending his discharge. But he’s getting better, no doubt’.
