This is truly something to cheer about.
Kidnapped Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Ishola Balogun-Fulani and the party’s Secretary, Bode Adekanye, are now out of their kidnappers’ den.
They were said to have been rescued by the Kogi State Police Command at about 6.30pm on Saturday, who collaborated with other security agencies as soon as the news of their kidnap got out.
No ransom was allegedly paid to secure their release and freedom.
They spent last night in Lokoja, Kogi State and would have been re-united with their families as you read this.
The two politicians, it would be recalled, were kidnapped along Okene/Abuja road on Friday.
Celebrations, expectedly, have engulfed their homes. Likewise the APC secretariat in Kogi State.
