The new Rector of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Prof. Oludele Adelanwa Itiola, appears ready for the challenges of administering the tertiary institution. Speaking exclusively to GP on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, in his office, the man acknowledged the good works of his predecessor, before adding that he is going to transform the citadel of higher learning and leave an everlasting legacy. The Rector said he’s delighted that the institution is fast returning to the glorious days of the past and boasted that the graduates of the institution will henceforth command the respect they deserve. Earlier in the day, about 5000 students were welcomed to the ‘MAPOLY FAMILY’ in a colorful matriculation ceremony held at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel Auditorium, which was witnessed by Principal Officers of the institution. Some new courses were also introduced; these are Arts and Design, Nutrition and Die-tics and Banking and Finance.
