Director General (DG), of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, has scored the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration in Ogun State 85 percent, in its infrastructural developmental drive.
Mohammed gave the pass mark, while speaking with news men, shortly after the governor conducted him and his team, on a tour of some projects of the state government, in Abeokuta.
“Even though I have not been able to visit other Senatorial Districts of the state, but with what I saw here in the Ogun Central, I can score the governor 85 percent, because he has been able to deliver on his electioneering campaign promises to the people”, he said.
The DG, who said the Abeokuta he knew, few years back, was not the Abeokuta he saw during the tour, stated that the city has developed, with secured and serene environment, flyovers and standard roads, with all its modern facilities, dotting round the state capital.
Appreciating the Amosun government for its clear vision and mission, the NTA boss said “during the inspection, I can see the connection between the people and the governor, and this goes a long way to affirm that Governor Amosun is not just a politician but also an elder statesman.
Earlier, when the NTA team paid the governor a courtesy visit in his office, Amosun described the media as an essential partner in progress for any successful administration, pledging the support of his government for the television station in the state
