When fast rising Nollywood actress, Nuella Njubigbo bought a brand new 2011 Toyota Highlander SUV in December 2012, she could not hide her joy as she flooded the social networks with the news and pictures of the wonders on wheel. The jeep which is estimated to have cost a whopping N8million set many tongues wagging, especially as the actress is perceived not to be in the A-list category and her take home pay even if saved for two years cannot buy the SUV. But tales on how the sultry actress allegedly got her prized property have been traced to Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State. According to what we gathered, Nuella had caught the interest of the oil-rich governor and they are allegedly neck deep in a relationship.
They were said to have met in early November 2012 in Port-Harcourt where the actress had gone to attend a function and one thing had led to another and numbers were exchanged, and the result is the largesee.
In one of their alleged various meetings, Nuella was said to have escorted the governor abroad on official trip and when she came back, the generous governor allegedly presented her the SUV. Amaechi also allegedly surprised the actress with another N5million to get an apartment in the Eastern part of Nigeria.
Nuella until summer last year was reportedly neck deep in a relationship with Nollywood producer and director, Tchidi Chikere, an affair that was so hot that Tchidi allegedly broke up with his wife, Sophia. Thereafter she moved on to date Russia based Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Emenike, whom she visited in Russia a few times before her sweet net caught the governor.
Yes International! called the fast rising actress on Saturday, December 12, 2013 and she denied ever being Governor Amaechi’s lover. She said, “This is a cheap blackmail from bad belle people and my
simple answer to all their rumour is that hard work pays. My brother, please, I’m presently on location and this is where I make my money. I don’t want my location manager to be mad at me. Maybe we can talk later tonight on phone. Thanks, Gbenga’’.
