One of the brains behind Oando, Wale Tinubu, has bounced back, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine can confirm.
The 55-year-old CEO of Oando, who had been lying low, especially after the unpleasant issue the company had with Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, is making a big comeback with the victory of his uncle and Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The lawyer turned businessman, for the record, was standing behind the APC chieftain and two-term former governor of Lagos this morning when the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu’s name as the winner of Saturday’s presidential election.
Later in the day when Tinubu, his deputy, Kashim Shettima and some APC top-shots visited Buhari at home to present their certificates, he was also there and even took a shot with him, after a presidential handshake.
In fact, no sooner were photos from the visit released than some people started saying that,”Wale is back, and will obviously play a major role in Asiwaju’s administration.”
The days ahead, no doubt, will unfold what role he is going to play.
