Olubadan, 81, Dies After 2 Years On The Throne

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olalekan Balogun, is dead.

The 81-year-old monarch died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State.

He reigned for only two years and will be buried today, Friday, March 15 or Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Condolence messages have been pouring in for him, with names like Rasheed Ladoja, Owolabi Olakulehin, etc being touted as his likely successors.
