Who is Pastor Lawrence Onochie?
I am the Senior Pastor of The Kings Heritage, a Pentecostal ministry at Haruna bus stop Ogba, Lagos.
Tell us about The King’s Heritage Church and what exactly is your mandate?
The King’s Heritage (TKH) is actually much more than a church, it’s a family, it’s an end-time movement designed by God to reach and deploy change agents into every sphere of the society and we have a goal to strategically bring Christ and His values into all spheres of the society.
You just hosted a renowned man of God, Bishop Mike Okonkwo (of TREM) at a conference tagged: ‘Next Dimension’. How successful was it?
It was hugely successful, an unprecedented grace and insight was released to catapult everyone present into their next dimension.
Why the conference?
The Next Dimension conference was God inspired. He directed us to call for this meeting where He would breathe upon all participants at the conference, upon their lives, ministries, businesses and works. The essence was to catapult people from their discontent to a better dimension.
Why Bishop Mike Okonkwo?
Apart from the fact that Bishop Mike Okonkwo is a very well-known trusted man of God and a great apostle of God with great repute, he has impacted thousands of souls across the globe and having also fathered me spiritually, I consider him more than qualified to be the distinguished guest speaker at the conference.
What is your vision for TKH?
My vision for TKH is deeply ingrained in our mandate; it’s inseparable. The King’s Heritage is multifaceted, it has other arms like the Heritage Empowerment Centre , Extreme Youths Ministry, Couples’ Alive Network, to mention a few. All these arms and ministries are routes through which we are constantly infusing change into our society and as such, my vision for TKH would be to wax stronger in fulfilling our mandate by covering as much grounds as there is and by the grace of God, seeing our ‘seemingly’ little impact snowball into some gigantic effect in every sector. Our goal is to Raise Champions throughout the nation and even beyond these shores.
Are there other similar programmes lined up in the near future?
Oh yes! As a matter of fact, this year, we will be having another mega conference on the 2nd and 3rd of October, tagged ‘Unleash’. The guest speaker is Pastor Paul Adefarasin (House on the Rock), a National Youth Conference on the 30th of May, tagged “Raising Champions”, with speakers like Nathaniel Bassey, Kehinde Bankole, Humble Smith (Osinachi), MC Bash, etc. We will also be hosting Mike Aremu at our December 11th WorshipFest Concert. Everyone is invited to attend these programmes as we believe there is something for everyone. Resident inside of everyone is a continent of undiscovered potentials.
