Embattled rainmaker and Reggae music legend, Majek Fashek, was at the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Mission (CLAM), in Omole, Ikeja, Lagos, again, on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
Majek, who has been battling drug addiction for years now, had earlier visited and afterwards claimed he had given his life to Christ. Only to later allegedly return to his old and destructive habit.
Below, according to Demola Akinbola, who witnessed it all, was how it went:
‘The “rainmaker”, Majek Fashek (Majekodunmi Fasheke) today visited the headquarters of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) sequel to his return from the USA where he won an award in Atlanta.
‘Majek, who is fast returning to his former self after undergoing rehabilitation in Nigeria and overseas, was praised by Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Senior Pastor of CLAM, for his courage and determination.
‘During his previous visits, Pastor Oladiyun prayed for Majek Fashek and encouraged him not to give up.
‘In line with its tradition of encouraging and preserving talents, CLAM also supported Fashek.
‘The Ilesha, Osun State-born Fashek, ruled the airwaves in the 90s with his headline song – Send Down the Rain.’
