The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos just lost one of their major pillars, Mrs Kemi Nelson.
Details of how and when the stylish commissioner, who served under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died are still sketchy.
However, consumer rights activist, Sola Salako Ajulo, who broke the sad news on her Facebook page announced it thus: “APC Chieftain, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson Is Dead. She was once the Southwest Woman Leader of the Party. May her soul Rest In Peace. Double tragedy for the Southwest APC Family.”
Mrs Nelson, aged 66, was a mother of three and married to Adeyemi Nelson, an unobtrusive gentleman. In her lifetime, she was one of those in charge of Ikeja political terrain.
