Renowned and respected preacher, Billy Graham, died today at 99, narrowly missing getting enlisted into the club of centenarians.
Centenarians are persons who are 100 years old and above.
He travelled round the world preaching the gospel of Christ, after becoming born again as a 16- year old at a tent revival.
Married to Ruth and blessed with five children, 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, his crusades, conferences and preaching touched almost all corners of the world, earning him a combination of applause and acclaim.
Battling Parkinson’s disease at some point, he reportedly died peacefully in his home in Montreat, North Carolina, United States of America.
A pastor to several Presidents, his burial details were still being awaited as at the time of writing this.
