Embattled former National Security Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dasuki rtd., is bereaved.
The detained and retired Army officer just lost his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki, the deposed former Sultan of Sokoto.
Aged 93, the one-time Sultan of Sokoto (crowned by ex-President Ibrahim Babangida rtd and deposed by late President Sani Abacha) died on Monday, November 14, 2016 and would be buried on Tuesday, November 15, according to Islamic rites.
Of course, chances of his son, Sambo, being there are very, very slim. The reason being that he’s still in detention over allegations of squandering billion of security money while serving under Jonathan.
