Shoprite Ota Is The Place To Shop With Its Attractive New Look and Exciting Deals

Every shopper loves a great deal – whether it is a price discount or free products for every bulk purchase made. To them, it is a show of appreciation for their patronage and it signals more value for money. For shoppers in Ogun State, Shoprite Ota is the place to gain this unique value, as the store launches its new look with amazing deals this weekend.

The store’s new look which was unveiled on Friday, August 27, 2021, brought with it massive discounts on top-selling products, special buy one get one free offers (BOGOFs), and other activations that shoppers can benefit from while shopping. These activations, which include product sampling from Indomie and Kelloggs, a dental check-up by toothpaste brand, Colgate and a buy and win promo from diaper brand Huggies, are expected to add to the shopping experience customers will get while exploring the new store layout.

The Shoprite Ota Store is the first of the 25 stores initially operated by the Shoprite Nigeria franchise to get an improvement since the acquisition of the company by Ketron Investment Limited, led by renowned businessman Tayo Amusan, in May 2021. The one hundred per cent acquisition was the first step by Ketron Investment in their bid to transform Shoprite Nigeria into a stronger company, offering the best shopping experience to Nigerian shoppers.

Some of the special offers available to shoppers this weekend include a price discount on the 375ml bottle of the Hennessy VS Cognac, a combo discount on Cussons 1litre dishwashing liquid, bulk purchase discounts on Castillo wines, Guinness Extra Stout cans, and Smirnoff Ice drinks. There is also the offer of a free Nivea 50ml roll-on for every two a customer buys, as well as a free check-up from cooking oil brand, Power Oil.

Beyond this promo, which is expected to run from Friday, August 27, 2021, to Wednesday, September 8, 2021, the Shoprite team plans to run a similar promotion at the end of each month for the next two months, while launching a ‘bulk sales’ day on the Tuesday and Wednesday of every week, starting from the 7th and 8th of September. These days will make very juicy offers available for customers who make purchases above a certain amount on key items available at Shoprite.

For Shoprite Nigeria’s new owners and the management at the Ota Store, these offers are expected to increase footfall, while showcasing the new improvements being made to sustain and grow the retail brand in Nigeria.
