Showbiz great and one of the brains behind Primetime Jamz, Otunba Dayo Adeneye, popularly known as D1, is bereaved. The former Ogun State for Information and Strategy just lost his mother, Mrs Comfort Adeneye.

Aged 87, Mrs Adeneye died in London, United Kingdom on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Sharing the sad news on his Facebook page, D1 had written: “Good night mum.
You Lived a Great Life and we your children are the Better for it.
You were the funniest mother ever.
I hope I made you proud.
I am missing you already.
Adieu Comfort.. Iye kayode (Mama D1).”

Her burial details were yet to be announced at the time of writing this. An insider, however, told YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine that she may be buried in London.
