“Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand. It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore, all hands will be limped. Every man’s heart will melt, and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them. They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth. They will be amazed at one another. Their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel with both wrath and fierce anger to lay the land desolate. And He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their consternations will not give their light. The sun will be darkened in its going forth. And the moon will not cause its light to shine. I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will halt the arrogance of the proud and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, a man more that the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of host and the day of His fierce anger. It shall be as the hunted gazelle, as a sheep that no man takes up. Every man will turn to his own people and every one will flee to his own land. Everyone who is found will be thrust through and everyone who is captured will fall by the sword. Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be plundered and their wives ravished.” – Isaiah 13:6 – 16.
Repent for the day is at hand! This was the theme of the apostolic preaching in the Acts of the Apostles. A thousand years is like one day to the Lord. Imaging if we have less than a thousand years to go. Here, the Lord is saying that it is time for you to forget about everything else and focus and press into the Kingdom because there is coming a time when you will not hear any sound message about the Kingdom of God. So, now that you can hear it, you have to fully use it and not throw it away.
This prophetic destruction is not coming from the devil, it is coming from God, the Almighty Himself. Is this not a frightening thing to be caught in the anger of the Almighty? When the Almighty God has given up on this world, when He has sent messengers and servants and pastors and prophets and evangelists and others to preach; yet their words are rejected, then He will say: Well, since you have rejected me and refused to accept me, I am going to throw calamity among you. I am going to show you that I am God Almighty. I am good and I have the power also to show you what fear and evil is all about.
Sin is what brings out the anger of God. Any time we insist on doing what is wrong, we are forced to experience the anger of the Lord. The anger of the Lord was initially meant for the devil and those demons that fell with him when they revolted in heaven. But now because you have refused to accept Christ as your Lord and as you savior, and you have refused to repent from your sinful lifestyle, the anger of the Lord is going to visit you. You do not have to go through that problem. You do not have to be a victim of it. You can run, you can hide from it. There is no other way than through the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the sacrificial lamb that was slain two thousand years ago. He alone is the way of escape that God has made for us.
You are reading about this right now because God does not want you to be a victim of His anger. He is going to consume the sinners. The bible says that the sun will cease to shine. The stars and moon’s lights will be taken. Everything will go contrary to how it has been because God created the sun and the stars and the moon to serve us.
But when He is angry because of our rejection of His dear Son, Jesus Christ, then He will ask the whole powers to fall apart, and let everywhere be in chaos and confusion, anarchy, destruction, trouble, fear and pain.
Am I a prophet of doom? Well, you may say what you like; but this is what the Word of God says. The good thing is that there is a way out. That was why God sent Jesus. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish (he will not be a victim of this anger of God) but have everlasting life. – John 3:16
Peace and life through Jesus Christ our Lord is my assignment, simple and short.
Repent from your sin and accept Jesus Christ. Do not say tomorrow, for you may never see tomorrow. I do not wish or pray for bad things to happen to anybody, but the truth is that nobody knows when death will come. You can be with somebody now and the next time you hear of him, he is dead. My prayer and my assignment is that you should not die without Jesus. Make sure that your heart is right with God before your death.
It is terrible to see the wicked die. When you see these wicked occultists on their way to hell then you know that you do not have to dabble into evil things with the devil. But when you see the righteous die, they go peacefully, they go quietly because Jesus comes to receive them.
Friend, this is the time for you to make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. If you make up your mind to have Him then say this prayer. God is calling you. It is time to make peace with Him. Say: Lord Jesus, be merciful unto me. I am a sinner. Have mercy on me, come into my life. Be my Lord and Saviour. Be my Master. From today, I repent. I say yes to you; and I say no to the devil. I reject sin, I reject satan, I reject sickness and I reject disease. Lord Jesus, from today, I am your child. Thank you for saving me and for writing my name in the book of life. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, you are becoming a Christian. There are three things I always say to new believers:
1. Get yourself a Bible and begin to study it, starting with the Gospel according to John.
2. Pray in the name of Jesus.
3. Look for a good Bible-believing church where Jesus is preached in spirit and in truth as Lord and Saviour, go and worship God there and you will be blessed.
