True to YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine’s story of yesterday, the Department of State Security Service or State Security Service, like many of us prefer to address them – headed by Mr. Lawal Musa Daura – has begun the screening of some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s likely ministers.
Already, we gathered authoritatively that the likes of Prof. Pat Utomi, a renowned economist, Eze Festus Odimegwu, former Nigerian Breweries MD, Mr. Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, erstwhile Governor of Osun State, have all been screened.
The others are Mr. Wale Edun, Tinubu’s Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru, hitherto the boss of FIRS and Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazu (rtd), one time Chief of Army Staff. Equally being touted as likely ministers in Buhari’s cabinet which he has repeatedly assured all Nigerians will be constituted before the end of this September are Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, a minister under ex -President Olusegun Obasanjo, etc.
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine sources disclosed that Buhari, who is currently on a trip to France, may announce his ministers as soon as he returns. ‘But even if he doesn’t do so immediately, the announcement won’t exceed this month’, one of them assured us.
