We gave you some reasons this morning why the proposed NLC strike billed to commence on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 may not work.
Well, here is the latest: The National Industrial Court just barred them from going ahead with the strike.
The President of the court, Mr. Babatunde Adejumo, gave the order today.
And this was as a result of an exparte application filed by by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Alhaji Abubakar Malami, SAN.
The court ruled that the status quo be maintained pending the determination of the suit, with the case adjourned to Tuesday, May 24.
NLC had taken on the Federal Government following the upping of fuel price from N86.50 to N145. All their meetings to resolve it had been deadlocked until this court action.
