1. SPIRITUAL
THE WOMB OF DESTINY by Imade Alabi: This is a book that everybody in ministry should read. It will help you understand what ministry is all about and how to overcome the challenges in it. Another thing I love about the book is that the author explained all the challenges and successes from her own experience.
2. BUSINESS
MONEY WON’T MAKE YOU RICH by Sunday Adelaja: This is the book you must read this month. If you need money to run your business, you should get a copy of this book. The impartation and the revelation you will get from reading this book will stay with you for life.
3. FAMILY
HOW TO RAISE YOUR KIDS WITHOUT LOSING IT! by Pamela Evbota: This is a powerful book from a woman who manages her business, kids and her husband very well. The step by step of how she makes her kids the best at what they do is something I believe all women can learn from. The value she has for her family made her quit what she called the “8-5 Band Wagon” and started something that will give her time for them.
4. RELATIONSHIP
40 MARITAL TABLETS by Rotimi Abiodun: The book, 40 MARITAL TABLETS is not just word-based; it has a lot of pictures and short quotes that you can meditate on. There is a chapter where the author talked about LEAVE AND CLEAVE. He has this quote on it that shines more light on leaving and cleaving. He said, “The leaving and cleaving from the man must not be a one off action, but rather a decision that must be actively preserved all through life.”
5. LEADERSHIP
MULTIPLY YOUR SUCCESS LEAD by Sam Adeyemi: The author of this book is known with success. Not just talking or teaching the principles of success, he is one man that has led millions of leaders to become the best at what they do. Everything around him shows what he preaches; he said in the book “Success in life is a prize that has a price”.
6. CHILDREN
CHILDREN OF VIRTUE by Bukola Kolajo:I read this book and found out that without using some of the virtues the author highlighted, the problems in our community will linger. There is no other secret to life of fulfillment, excellence, success or good leadership if we don’t impart the right virtues into the children who will be leaders of tomorrow.
7. EDUCATION
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CALL IMPOSSIBILE by Olawale Perfect-Lawal: Olawale Perfect-Lawal explained the seven things this young CEO of Wisdom Gate Radio did to have a First Class in school.
It’s a new school season, I will like you to get a copy of this great book. By the time you read it and use all the principles in the book, you will end your semester with a good result.
8. AUTO-BIOGRAPHY / BIOGRAPHY
A FLY GIRL by Amanda Epe:
It’s that book you should read when travelling this month. She was formerly a cabin crew member of British Airways.
The story of her challenges and successes while working with the airline will inspire you to work and never give up on your dreams. I have travelled the world by just reading the book.
9. NOVEL
STIGMA FROM THE PAST by AnuliAusbeth-Ajagu: This is a novel that deals with issues of past wrongs. The author used everyday scenes, names that you are familiar with and the characters that show our past can do something great in our lives.
10. POEMS
PUNCTURED SILENCE by Kolade Olanrewaju Freedom: If you love words and how it can be used, this poem will be a perfect one for you. The creative insight, rhymes and the great feeling it creates makes it a poem you should read this month.
