Up Nollywood! One of its lead actors has just dented its good name further by allegedly raping a prostitute. The said actor, with the 10th alphabet beginning his name, and the 19th his surname, was later arrested by police men from Soloki Police Station, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos for his ungentlemanly conduct.
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine findings revealed that the good looking actor, from the South South, had gone into the lady’s hotel room in Surulere, alongside one of his friends. And both of them allegedly took turns in raping her, after which they took off. The lady, in anger, reported the matter to the police who swiftly arrested the actor and detained him. He only regained his freedom after coughing out the sum of N50,000 and spending some days in the cell. The bearded actor, no doubt, is abundantly talented. But his major problem is that whenever he’s drunk, he misbehaves. Said our source: “He must have been drunk the night he messed up Nollywood’s reputation by raping a prostitute”. However, when YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine contacted the actor, he denied raping the prostitute. “I only slept in her hotel room with my friend. Yes, I was drunk, but it was in the morning that I started hearing the rape story. I only slept in her room and can’t remember raping her. I only settled the police so they don’t continue denting my name. The incident has taught me a big lesson”. The prostitute goes by the name – Da Bratt. Her hotel room is in the Kilo area of Surulere where the artistes have one of their biggest hangouts. It was during one of her parading the area that the alleged rape incident occurred. The name of the actor’s friend who allegedly took part in the rape drama was given as Desmond. According to the story which is fast spreading all over the industry, Desmond pinned down the prostitute for the actor to devour after which the actor also pinned her down for him. “The lady is a sex worker no doubt. So, sex, with even ten men in a day is no big deal to her. Her grouse is that in spite of raping her one after the other, they still didn’t pay her – which was why she reported them to the police. Meanwhile, we pray that something like this never happens in Nollywood again. Our stars should stop giving us a bad name”, another furious actor who is also one of our sources concluded.
