Veteran Broadcaster, Jika Attoh Is Dead!

One of Nigeria’s best broadcasters ever, Jika Attoh is dead.

He died today in a hospital in Enugu – after battling ill health for some time.

A thoroughbred professional, he was around for long. However, in the last three decades or so, he moved from John Momoh’s Channels Television to Raymond Dokpesi’s Africa Independent Television and later, Cosmo FM Enugu, said to be owned by former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani.

Believed to be in his 60s and from Onitsha, Anambra State, Jika is said to be the shortened form of Igbo name – Nkemjika.
