Yes! You hardly get to hear or even read about him – but that’s for a reason. Mr. Victor Gbolade Osibodu,MFR, owner of the multi billion Vigeo Holdings and one of Nigeria’s richest men, prefers being unobtrusive. In fact, people hear about his super banker wife, Funke, more than him.

1. He was born on May 14, 1955.
2. He attended Ebenezer Primary School, Ibadan, Oyo State; Government College, also in Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile Ife, Osun State, where he read Pharmacy.
3. He graduated in 1977 and did his NYSC in 1978 with the Nigerian Navy.
4. Thereafter, he worked for Boots Company Nigeria Ltd and Bodmat International Company before setting up Vigeo Limited in 1985.
5. Vigeo today is a multi billion business empire comprising Vigeo Oil & Gas, Vigeo Promotions & Marketing, Vigeo Capital, Citiserve Ltd, Citiserve Microfinance Bank Ltd, etc.
6. A top corporate player, he is on the board of SO&U Advertising, Phillips Consulting, UTC Nigeria, GTBank, Heritage, Fate Foundation, to mention but few.
