Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Thursday 17 to Tuesday 22 September 2020.
SuperSport is your #HomeOfSport and the only place to see all your favourites from the WWE Universe!
The action begins on the morning of Thursday 17 September with WWE NXT Episode 582. Last week saw Finn Balor defeat Adam Cole in an epic clash for the NXT Championship, though Cole has sworn that the outcome will be different if the pair meets again.
“Finn Balor better hope that I don’t get another opportunity at the NXT Championship because if I do, the outcome is gonna be a lot different. And that… is undisputed!” exclaimed the former titleholder.
Saturday 19 September brings Episode 1100 of WWE SmackDown. All eyes will be on the possible return of Sasha Banks, who was shockingly attacked by her former best friend Bayley. The SmackDown Women’s Champion revealed why she turned on her former tag team partner.
“You want answers? Well, I’m full of questions right now. So, Sasha, I know that you’re watching. Do you think that I’m some sort of idiot? Do you think that I’m so naive after all these years that I didn’t know what you were thinking all along? Seriously, after everything that we’ve been through, who knows you better than me? Nobody. You were waiting for the right time to strike, you kept me close,” said Bayley.
“When you saw me at the top of my game, you needed to become ‘Two Belts Banks’ didn’t you? You pretended to be my best friend. But all along you were using me. And do you know how I know that? Because I was using YOU! I didn’t care about you, and I damn sure didn’t care about our friendship! I used you every single step of the way!”
Tuesday 22 September will feature Episode 1426 of WWE Raw. The mysterious group known as Retribution has sent a chilling message to the WWE universe, which awaits their next move with trepidation.
“This ‘Thunderdome’ is only a façade. Behind this mountain of screens is the same foundation, the same WWE as before. The same behemoth who discarded and disowned us, leaving us to survive in an unfair world. Will the powerful continue to grow, while we are left to feed on nothing but the scraps of contempt?” said the faction.
“But contempt is a powerful motivator. We are driven to destroy, to lay waste to every Superstar and every fan blinded… you cannot see what you do not have. So, the locusts of contempt will feed upon all of you. A darkness of retribution will seep into the pores of every Superstar and all of your so-called ‘universe’. We are Retribution!”
